Target Trendspotting - Knit Wit

Fall is an exciting season for fashion because of the opportunities for layering and experimenting with new trends. I tend to stock up on lightweight knits this time of year in anticipation of cooler temperatures. They fit the bill for summer-to-fall transitional style because they're easy to layer when days are warm and nights are chilly. 

Need styling ideas for your fall knits? Throw a graphic print sweater or colorful cardigan over a lightweight T-shirt or silky button-front blouse. Add a pencil skirt or tailored trousers and heels for sophistication, or stick with slightly distressed skinny denim and chic ballet flats for a more relaxed look. When winter sets in, layer your sweater over a thin turtleneck and under a cozy vest, lined parka or wool coat for more warmth.
