Branching Out With Style Detox

One of the perks of being a fashion blogger is hearing about new lines, online boutiques, sample sales, and fashion events. While it can also be overwhelming to receive hundreds of emails per month, I appreciate the fact that designers, boutique owners, PR firms, and marketing reps are reading Fashion Trend Guide and contacting me. (When I started this blog in February of 2007, I never imagined that this would happen.) So when Meagan from Styledetox.com contacted me to let me know about her indie boutique, I happily checked out her site and loved what I saw.

Styledetox.com was started in 2008 by Meagan French, a music industry publicist. It brings discerning fashionistas the best in vintage and indie fashion and housewares. Style Detox has a companion blog called Vox Detox, where they discuss music, fashion, and culture for the indie set. According to Meagan, they just started carrying the Candy Stripe Collection by Rock Steady, and they'll soon be stocking a Moroccan-inspired jewelry collection. They are currently having a super sale on some of their best-selling merchandise, including bold tank tops and whimsical jewelry. Other sale items include: dresses for $24.99, tanks for $14.99, and jewelry for $9.99. One of my favorite pieces of jewelry is this earthy, organic tree necklace pictured below. It's right in line with this season's statement jewelry trend.
